The String of Hearts is a heart-shaped vining succulent with patterned leaves. It is native to South Africa, Swaziland, and Zimbabwe. Place in a hanging basket and marvel at the hearts cascading down the pot like a waterfall.

Succulents tend to require less watering and fertilizing than other houseplants, but they may need additional nutrients from time to time. A good succulent plant food product may contain a variety of organic plant nutrients, trace minerals, natural growth hormones, humic + fulvic acids, and worm castings. Overfeeding your succulent, especially with high levels of nitrogen, can cause leaf and root rot problems.

Use this soil mix for succulents, palms, cactus, citrus, plumeria, and some tropical plants. A good Succulent, Palm and Citrus soil mix is a coarse, well-drained soil that is about one-third sand. It should absorb water quickly and provide excellent drainage. This soil mix should contain ingredients such as recycled forest products, pumice, sand, bark fines, dehydrated poultry manure, and hydrolyzed feather meal.

Extremely easy vining plant. The strings are beautiful and the color is great if I’m bright light.

pretty easy to care for. beautiful and not too fussy

definitely a must-have! it’s a super fast grower! my one tip would be that string of hearts like to be root-bound and prefer underwatering to overwatering

If your conditions are right this plant will take off! It requires medium diffused light and stable humidity or it will drop its leaves. The underside of your leaves should be pink/ purple if not the lighting is off target
