The Spineless Yucca gets its name by not having razor sharp leaves like other types of yucca plants. But the ends of the leaves might poke you a little bit if you aren't careful. Great for placing near a south-facing window to allow lots of light.

Using a slow-release plant food designed specifically for palms is the best way to meet their high nutritional demands. Palm trees are known to have magnesium and potassium deficiencies. Look for a palm plant food that contains nitrogen, phosphorus, potassium, and other nutrients such as magnesium, iron, and sulfur.

Use this soil mix for succulents, palms, cactus, citrus, plumeria, and some tropical plants. A good Succulent, Palm and Citrus soil mix is a coarse, well-drained soil that is about one-third sand. It should absorb water quickly and provide excellent drainage. This soil mix should contain ingredients such as recycled forest products, pumice, sand, bark fines, dehydrated poultry manure, and hydrolyzed feather meal.

cool plant but unforgiving! Needs light like we need food. if you take care of it right the first time you can own a near flawless yucca. It doesn't seem to grow fast. But a statement in any room or office. I put pebbles on top of dirt for style.
