Sempervivum 'Ginnies Delight' | Hens & Chicks is compact, rosettes of pointed, succulent leaves in shades of red with green tips.  Easy-to-care for, pets and children friendly. Attracts butterflies and bees. Best growth in rock gardens with full sun and a little shade. 

Use this soil mix for succulents, palms, cactus, citrus, plumeria, and some tropical plants. A good Succulent, Palm and Citrus soil mix is a coarse, well-drained soil that is about one-third sand. It should absorb water quickly and provide excellent drainage. This soil mix should contain ingredients such as recycled forest products, pumice, sand, bark fines, dehydrated poultry manure, and hydrolyzed feather meal.

This tiny ground cover succulents were believed to ward off fire and lightning strikes and has herbal properties.
