High Water Needs Queen�s-Tears can tolerate and grow in low light and shady areas which means it prefers about 2 hours of diffused natural light. Remember, low light does not mean NO light! All plants need light to survive, some more than others. When plants like Queen�s-Tears grow in low light or shady areas, you will want to avoid exposing them to direct sunlight unless direct sun is specified as a light need for the plant. In which case it can tolerate a wide range of low light to direct sun conditions and is very forgiving!
